Soda firing is a lot of fun and while this flowerpot received only a light coating of soda there was something in the environment that created a faint pink color on the edges of the soda.

In my not-at-all-biased opinion, this series of soda-fired flowerpots is wildly beautiful and functional. Flowerpots are genuinely one of my favorite things to make and the soda has created beautiful textures and and colors on these pieces, which were fired bare.
